This hybrid achieves a fuel economy of 5.6 litres per 100 kilometres (42 miles per gallon). Dn-X has unique six-speed transmission allowing the driver to chose either manual or automatic mode at his or her discretion. When placed in manual mode, the DN-X operates as a clutchless, six-speed manual transmission similar to those found in Formula One race cars.
