The Peugeot 407 Silhouette concept from the 2004 Geneva Motor Show was a styling exercise by Peugeot to show the customising possibilities of the new Peugeot 407. With an extreme body kit and imposing graphics the 407 Silhouette concept car displayed a three-part carbon fiber body structure, comprising the hood, passenger compartment and engine. The 407 was the successor to the hugely successful Peugeot 406, and was launched on May 27 2004. The streamlined design of the car was seen as quite radical, its most distinctive features being its large front grille and the steeply raked screen pillars.
